The Portes du Soleil is a ski area with 12 linked resorts on either side of the French-Swiss border. It is considered one of the world's biggest ski areas with 197 lifts and 650km of slopes, although they are not all fully linked.

The Portes du Soleil are a genuine natural powder reserve at the heart of the Alps. They offer skiers exceptional views at the top of each lift, slopes that wind their way through snow meadows and spruces, and mountain chalets that have stood the test of time.
The ski area enjoys exceptionally good snowfall and great snow quality from mid-November to the end of April, with an average of 7.83m of powder every year.
